50 Year Warranty
We build furniture to be handed down, and we stand behind it the same way. Every piece Trend Manor builds is warranted for 50 years with a repair-first promise: if something covered fails, we repair it. If we cannot repair it, we replace it. No gray areas, and no loose definitions of "lifetime."
What the 50-year warranty covers
The solid wood structure of your furniture — the frame, the joinery, and the construction — against defects in materials and workmanship under normal home use, for 50 years from the date of purchase. This is the heart of the piece, built from solid American hardwood and time-tested joinery, and it is what we warrant the longest.
Upholstery, finish, and moving parts
Some materials are not built to last fifty years, and saying otherwise would be exactly the kind of loose promise we avoid. These are covered against manufacturing defects for the periods below. Normal wear is not a defect.
- Leather and fabric upholstery, cushions, and foam: 10 years against manufacturing defects such as failed stitching or seams.
- Hand-applied finish: 20 years against defects such as peeling or bubbling not caused by misuse.
- Reclining mechanisms and hardware, where fitted: 50 years against mechanical failure in normal use.
What is expected, and not a defect
Solid wood and genuine leather are natural materials, and part of what makes a real, handmade piece worth owning. The following are expected characteristics, not faults, and are not covered:
- Natural variation in wood grain and color from piece to piece
- Gradual patina and color change from light and age
- Slight seasonal movement of solid wood with changes in humidity
- Softening, stretching, and creasing of leather with use
- Softening of foam and cushion fill over time
- Normal wear from everyday living
What is not covered
- Damage from misuse, accidents, or neglect
- Damage from an improper environment, including excessive heat, dryness, humidity, or prolonged direct sunlight
- Damage from improper cleaning, or from repairs made by anyone other than Trend Manor

Who is covered
This warranty covers the original owner, with proof of purchase from trendmanor.com or an authorized Trend Manor dealer. Warranties are transferrable so long as you have a copy of the original order invoice containing the order number, date, original buyer name proof of purchase from the original buyer.
How to make a claim
Contact us at greg@trendmanor.com or 855-595-0498 with your order number and a photo of the issue. We will assess it and, if it is covered, arrange the repair or replacement.
