About Us

Since 1946, Trend Manor has been crafting solid wood furniture in Southern California as a true American family company. The story begins with Julian “Vic” Vecchione, a World War II veteran who returned home and turned his eye for craftsmanship into a small furniture shop in Los Angeles. From the beginning, his goal was simple and ambitious at the same time: to build furniture that people would be proud to have in their homes and that would truly last for generations.

As the company grew, Vic’s son Ted joined the business in 1961, learning the trade at his father’s side and helping guide Trend Manor through years of expansion and change. Under their leadership, the workshop eventually moved from its original Los Angeles roots to the City of Industry, California, where it still operates today. Trend Manor has remained family owned and operated ever since, with three generations of the Vecchione family now involved, including grandson Greg Vecchione, a third generation furniture maker who serves as a leader in the business.

Across those generations, one thing has never changed: Trend Manor’s commitment to American made, family run furniture making. Every piece is built in the United States by craftspeople who treat furniture as a long term relationship, not a disposable purchase. The company continues to specialize in solid wood, particularly solid oak, using time tested joinery and carefully chosen finishes rather than cutting corners with cheaper materials.

Trend Manor’s furniture is designed to become heirloom quality, the kind of pieces that move from first apartment to family home and eventually into the next generation. Each surface is still hand rubbed and waxed to bring out the natural character of the wood, and collections are created with classic, mission and arts and crafts influences that age gracefully instead of chasing short lived trends.

In an era when much of the industry has shifted to throwaway furniture, Trend Manor stands among the few remaining manufacturers devoted to building real wood furniture that can last a lifetime. For customers, owning a Trend Manor piece means bringing home not just a table, bed or cabinet, but a small part of an ongoing American family story that began in 1946 and is still being written in Southern California today.
